Supabase

Supabase is a common choice for the software property companies build themselves — a direct booking site, an owner portal, an internal tool that started as a weekend project and became load-bearing.

Those projects share a characteristic: they are maintained by someone with another job. Questions about them arrive irregularly and are answered by whoever remembers the schema, which is a fragile arrangement.

Connecting Supabase makes the data reachable by asking. Schema questions, row counts, whether a record exists — answerable without a console, which matters most for the systems nobody has time to maintain properly.

The permission question deserves a real decision rather than a default. Read access to a production database is useful and low-risk; write access is a different proposition, and worth granting only if you specifically want it.

Supabase connects through OAuth against your account, so ProhostAI never sees your password.

1. Open ProhostAI and go to Settings → Connections.
2. Search for Supabase and select Connect.
3. Sign in to Supabase and approve the permissions.
4. Ask what tables exist in one of your projects to confirm it works.

• Grant only the access you intend. A connection able to write to production is a serious permission.
• Access follows the connected account’s organisation and project permissions.
• This is for your development team rather than property operations.
