KoreLock

KoreLock is not the name on most of the doors it operates. It is the smart-lock platform — the connectivity, firmware and cloud layer — inside several lock lines, including KeyInCode’s smart series. If your locks are managed through a KoreLock-powered account, that account is the handle ProhostAI needs.

Connect it once and the reservation lifecycle takes over: each booking gets its own code with a validity window built from the stay dates, set on the lock ahead of check-in and removed after checkout. Where the hardware supports it, the code is the last four digits of the guest’s phone number — with a safe random fallback when it is not available.

The code reaches the guest through the same messages you already send. A template variable drops it into scheduled check-in messages and the digital guidebook. During the stay the guidebook can also work the door: for locks you enable, guests lock and unlock from it directly, rate-limited and only while the booking is active.

Because the platform reports back, the boring-but-critical parts hold up too: code changes are driven through to confirmation, failures like an unreachable lock are tracked and surfaced, and each device keeps a timeline of unlocks and changes you can audit later.

Once your KoreLock account is connected and locks are assigned to listings, this runs on its own:

Guest access

• A code per stay, on every KoreLock door Each reservation gets its own code, minted as soon as the booking is confirmed, with a window built from the stay — opening ahead of check-in and closing at checkout — across every lock assigned to the listing.
• Codes guests remember Where the hardware supports it, the code is the last four digits of the guest’s phone number, falling back to a safe random code when needed.
• Delivered automatically A template variable inserts the code into scheduled messages and the guest guidebook, so what the guest reads always matches what the lock expects. "Door code 9124 works from 4pm Friday through 11am on your checkout day."

Automation

• An AI employee with door privileges On request, the AI can report a stay’s door code, generate a new one, or lock and unlock — each action audited with an actor trail, rate-limited, and codes are withheld for cancelled or past bookings.
• Reconciliation with the calendar Date changes move code windows while the digits stay the same; cancellations remove codes. The lock state always matches the bookings.
• Tracked failures and a device timeline Code-setting is confirmed, not assumed — failures surface for action, and every lock keeps an auditable history of unlocks and code changes.

Connecting KoreLock takes a few minutes and happens entirely in the browser:

1. In ProhostAI, open Smart Devices and choose Connect account.
2. Pick KoreLock in the secure connection window and sign in with your KoreLock platform account credentials.
3. Locks managed by the account sync in automatically with battery and connection status.
4. Assign each lock to its listing and give it a guest-recognizable name (Front door, Unit door).
5. From the next reservation on, codes are created, delivered and removed automatically.

• KoreLock is the platform inside several lock brands — KeyInCode’s smart series among them — so your hardware may be KoreLock-powered without the name on the faceplate.
• ProhostAI manages only the per-reservation codes it creates; standing codes for owners and cleaners stay untouched.
• Multiple locks per listing are supported — a building entrance plus a unit door, each named so guests know which is which.
• Connected devices are a paid add-on billed per device, and ProhostAI never sees or stores your KoreLock password.
